COVID-19 Update

It was announced today that Governor Evers has issued a Stay-At-Home order for the state of Wisconsin. Hallman Lindsay is classified as a “hardware store and supply” which the government deems an essential business that can continue operating under these Emergency Order #12: Stay-At-Home order. Hallman Lindsay will continue to keep our stores open during this Stay-At-Home order to best serve our customers as directed by Gov. Evers and DHS.

We want you to know that, first and foremost, our most important commitment is to our priority of maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all of our associates and customers. Our next priority is to continue serving our customers in the safest and best way possible. We want to make it clear to all of our customers that we are 100% committed to serving you during these challenging times.

The vast majority of you, our customers, are small businesses, like us, and our products are essential for you to finish your projects. To continue providing our products to you, and for the health and safety of all of us, we are immediately making the following change to how we operate our stores during this Stay-At-Home order:

  • Our stores will only be offering Curbside Pickup or Curbside Delivery of paint and equipment. Customers should phone, text or send electronically your orders to your servicing store. Our store doors will be kept locked and only Hallman Lindsay associates are allowed inside. Orders will be placed where they are easily accessible to our customers.

Please know that Hallman Lindsay’s mission is to Love, Serve, and Care for all of our people and for all of our customers. We care about every one of our people and our customers—we are here to do anything we can to help you through these challenging times! Please call on us anytime we may be of service to you.     Gentlemen, we are great fans of your products but we need a consult in advance of placing an order. We purchased a deck stain one year ago in May and applied it according to your recommendations to new red cedar, seasoned (unstained) for a year.
    After some loss of the topical stain over the winter season, we again used the deck brush purchased from you to lightly scrub and household pressure water to rinse. I will attempt to send some photos of the condition of the deck, seeking your opinion on the current condition. Our discussion in store suggested a much longer lasting outcome, requiring modest touch up.

    If you have a traditional email address aside from this comment box, I can show you the issue. Under normal times, I’d bring video or phone shots in to show you. That does not seem possible in this case. I don’t want to post it on Facebook. We want to move forward with re-staining but there is concern for our method of application or the formulation. We don’t want to face doing this every new season.
