WE’RE PROUD OF OUR PAST… Hallman Paints was founded in 1956 in Madison, Wisconsin. Shortly thereafter, one of the original partners left to start Lindsay Finishes. Separately, both Hallman Paints and Lindsay Finishes enjoyed steady growth. In 1991, Hallman Paints combined with Lindsay Finishes to form hallman/lindsay Paints. We have experienced rapid growth since then — highlighted by the construction of a brand new 82,500 square foot, state of the art manufacturing, lab and corporate office facility in 1998.
