Market Manager Positions hallman/lindsay, a Wisconsin manufacturer of superior quality paints and coatings is seeking experienced sales professionals for the position of Market Manager in the Appleton, Minocqua, and Kenosha markets. The successful candidates must have awesome organization and leadership skills, and a strong ability to work independently. Previous construction industry experience is desirable, but not necessary. You must be willing to jump right in and run with this position. If you would rather follow than lead, this isn’t the job for you! Responsibilities include: • Actively prospecting and selling an expanding and diverse customer base. Provide exceptional follow-up and service to our customers. Approximately 25 to 40% of the Market Manager’s time will be selling time out of the store. • Managing branch sales activities—meeting company sales and prospecting goals, conducting monthly staff meetings. • Protect the assets of the company including the store itself, the store equipment, and the store inventory. • Assist with recruiting and provide direction, motivation, and training to store personnel, including written and verbal job performance reviews. • Develop and maintain a team-oriented, positive attitude throughout the store. • Other duties as assigned.
