hallman/lindsay is a JOB OVERVIEW – Market Manager SE WI Basic Responsibilities: The Market Manager is responsible for increasing sales in their market by actively selling existing customers and by continually developing and selling new customers. The Market Manager is responsible for developing and leading their team to provide the highest quality customer service, for driving the sales efforts of the market, and for managing market profitability. Duties: Actively prospecting and selling an expanding and diverse customer base. Provide exceptional follow-up and service to our customers. Approximately 25% to 75% of the Market Manager’s time will be selling time out of the branch, depending on the market. Managing branch sales activities—meeting company sales and prospecting goals, conducting monthly staff meetings. Protect the assets of the company including the branch itself, the branch equipment, the branch inventory, and collecting the branch receivables. Assist with recruiting and provide direction, motivation, and training to branch personnel, including written and verbal job performance reviews. Develop and maintain a team-oriented, positive attitude throughout the branch. Must be able to lift a minimum of 80lbs.
