hallman/lindsay's factory and main office are located  in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.  Our products are sold through 25 of our own stores located throughout Wisconsin.

Our company was founded in 1956 in Madison, Wisconsin.  Shortly thereafter, one of the original partners, Bob Lindsay, left to start Lindsay Finishes.  Separately, both Hallman Paints and Lindsay Finishes enjoyed steady growth.  In 1991, Hallman Paints combined with Lindsay Finishes to form hallman/lindsay paints.  We are one of less than 1,000 paint manufacturers in the country.

Our factory and offices have been enlarged three times since our move to Sun Prairie in 1976.  Our 1991 addition, to accommodate the hallman/lindsay paints consolidation, doubled the size of our facility to over 50,000 square feet.  Our new factory, finished in 1998, is one of the most up-to-date in the country and totals 82,000 square feet on 11 acres of land.

We are proud of our company and of our paint industry.  An industry slogan is "Picture Your World Without Paint."  It would be a dull world without the color and protection provided by paint.  hallman/lindsay paints decorates and protects many of the finest projects in our area ranging from Miller Park, to the red Bucky Badger at the University of Wisconsin, to projects as important as our home and yours.

We are proud of our past. hallman/lindsay paints' sales through our company-owned stores have been dynamic.  We manufacture approximately 2,000,000 gallons of paint annually.  However, our focus is always on the future.  We believe we must do everything we do today better in the future if our success is to continue.  We are committed to manufacturing the finest quality products and providing the highest possible level of service to our customers.
