View Our Colorizer Decorator Colors From Beetroot red and Curry yellow to Biloxi Blue and Blue Winged Teal, our forefathers (and mothers) displayed a decidedly bold palette when it came to choosing colors for their early American homes, barns and places of worship. Now, with the help of the Color Guild, a global paint and color authority working hand-in-hand with Historic New England, licensor of the color chart, combinations of these vivid and vibrant colors have been created to reflect current and future design trends. The new Historic Colors of America combination deck features 20 interior color combinations and 20 exterior color combinations while the combination color card showcases 24 three-color groups for a total of 72 colors. All colors appearing in the deck and on the card have been carefully selected from the Historic Colors of America palette, which is comprised of 149 interior and exterior colors. These historically accurate colors were created from actual paint samples taken from historic buildings and historic artifacts such as folk carvings and corner cupboards. All monitors display color differently. We strongly suggest that you visit your hallman/lindsay store to view color chips or consult a hallman/lindsay fandeck before making your final decision.
